SMS messages are intended for legal-service and case-related communications and are not intended to provide third-party marketing or promotional content.

GOC Legal may obtain SMS consent verbally during a telephone conversation with an attorney or authorized GOC Legal staff member. The attorney or authorized staff member may explain that GOC Legal would like to use the client's mobile telephone number to send case-related text messages and ask whether the client agrees to receive such messages.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving legal services.
By providing consent, you authorize GOC Legal to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you provided until you withdraw your consent.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending on your legal matter and communication needs. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from GOC Legal at any time by replying STOP to a GOC Legal text message. You may reply HELP for assistance.
After you opt out, GOC Legal will stop sending SMS messages to that mobile telephone number unless you subsequently provide consent to receive text messages again.

GOC Legal does not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
